Burdur’un Altınyayla ilçesinde bu yıl 30’uncusu düzenlenen Altın Sipsi Yağlı Pehlivan Güreşleri’nde Orhan Okulu başpehlivanlığı elde etti.
Altınyayla Belediyesi tarafından Dirmil Er Meydanı’nda düzenlenen güreşlere, çeşitli illerden 26’sı başpehlivan olmak üzere 542 sporcu katıldı.
Güreşçiler sıcak havaya rağmen rakipleriyle kıyasıya mücadele ederken, Ali Gürbüz’ü yenen Orhan Okulu ile Mustafa Kemal Karaboğa’yı yenen Mehmet Yeşil Yeşil finalde mücadele etti. Çekişmeli geçen final mücadelesinde Okulu, başpehlivanlığı kazandı.
Başpehlivan Orhan Okulu ise geçen hafta düzenlen 656. Tarihi Kırkpınar Yağlı Güreşleri’nde kendisine ikinciliğin nasip olduğunu ve bugün birincilik elde ettiği için mutluluk duyduğunu söyledi.
Altın Sipsi Yağlı Pehlivan Güreşleri’nin en yaşlı pehlivanı, 2002 yılında Kırkpınar Yağlı Güreşleri’nde başpehlivan olan 45 yaşındaki Hasan Tuna oldu. Tuna, müsabakalarda çeyrek finalde elendi. Atadan güreşçi olduğunu belirten Tuna, ”37 yıldır güreştiğini ve en iyisini yapmak için mücadele ettiğini ve gençlere yardımcı olmaya çalıştığını, şu anda 60 kadar gence güreş öğrettiğini” söyedi.
