Edirne Belediyesi’nin 5 yıldan bu yana desteklediği Koca Yusuf Yağlı Güreşleri’ne Türkiye ve Bulgaristan’dan 148 güreşçi katıldı. Cihan pehlivanı Koca Yusuf’un doğduğu Bulgaristan Şumnu’daki Karalar Köyü’nde yapılan güreşlere Türkiye’den ve Bulgaristan’dan binlerce kişi katıldı.
Edirne Belediyesi’nin güreşlere destek verdiği ve 10 pehlivanla katıldığı aktarılan açıklama şu şekilde:
”14 boyda düzenlenen güreşlere Türkiye ve Bulgaristan’dan 148 güreşçi katıldı. Güreşlerde, Edirne Belediyesi pehlivanı Tansel Umut, Bulgaristanlı rakibini yenerek başpehlivan oldu. Aynı kategoride Serkan Üğdüler de üçüncülük elde etti. Büyük orta kategorisinde ilk üç derece, Edirne Belediyesi pehlivanlarının oldu. Bu kategoride Serkan Makas birinci, Ali Rıza Özkayalar ikinci ve Yiğit Gider üçüncü oldu. Küçük orta kategorisinde de Ufuk Yanık birinci olurken, Atahan Özcan üçüncülük kürsüsüne çıktı.”
